The Dream of Mary Magdalene

For any representation of a Lady is a dominant color that will be underlined by a text and a soundtrack, both made by the artists Alberto and Maria Sion Crucitti Pallini, writer and musician working on the theme of beauty and its representation.

The appearance of each painting has its own theme music that accompanies development and mark the text.

The first appearance will be preceded by a moment of calling the attention of the public through a simple concentration of light to the place of the apparition itself then the color will fade into the music and the text of her intended.
Every moment of transition to a new appearance will be highlighted by a moment of "silent" sound and light (intense white light).
The projected image will shed its stillness punctuated by a vibrating and a slow camera movement that will investigate each fragment, the whole will blend into its parts and vice versa in a continual recurrence of the apparition itself.
The performance will close sharply, highlighting the almost sudden appearance of its sacred character.
Everything will run for 15-20 minutes (from 18.00 to 20.00) followed by an absence of 30 minutes, for a week (8-15 December 2008).

It will be composed of 10 cm canvases all. 180 x 110.
The 10 paintings will be divided into: 3 black Madonnas, Madonna 3 white, 3 red Madonnas, Madonna 1 gold.
All the paintings have frames designed by me.

Each Lady is accompanied by a text written by the writer Maria Sion Crucitti who shares with me an art project designed to bring the Beauty in Art.

At the opening panels, initially, will be in shadow. At the appointed time, will light the first frame while a voice reads the text referred to it, then light the second picture and so on to make visible all the pictures and reading the 10 books.

The catalog is designed in a small and precious, like a prayer book.
Inside, in gold, on the left, there will be text and pictures on the right side of the square.
Poetics
Madonnas are alchemical.
Madonnas are - women.
They are representatives of an inner beauty which we can specchiarci, not impossible but possible. Link between human and divine.
Each explores an aspect of their universal female archetype.

It 'work on Beauty in the highest sense of the term and older.
It 'a work that wants to focus on the most noble human being.
I think that art should take back what belongs to it, as language and as content.
Beauty today is the Cinderella of the Art, yet is not this always been his kingdom?

The Vision of the Sacred Sound of Creation, has instilled in me the idea of giving birth to "The Dream of Mary Magdalene."
The "abstract notes" etched into the fabric of the text, serve to draw in those who "listen" by reading them, the beneficial therapeutic effect of sound in them enclosed.
I like to think of how to create a perfect harmonic alignment between Creator and Creature.

An alignment that, in my opinion, not to be found nowhere else except within ourselves there, where it has always been. In that old beat boy, who is the real essence of the soul, obscured by a lot of shouting of anxieties, fears and insecurities that we inflict, pulsate our wildest dreams, and their magical real purpose; embryos of rising stars, which demand only through our creativity to shine through the daring, giving voice to our true aspirations believing to the end.

Let us open up, wallow, therefore, the one and only principle of harmony that makes the Creature Creator and one thing only: Unconditional Love. Let's present the opportunity to decide and to choose that Way, that according to our subjective and objective hearing, has a heart, and follow it, until the end, with confidence and determination.

Only then our eyes will recover memories of innocence and he will feed, the attitude of our being in the events of the world will change, and behind every door that we choose to open, we will find only what we expect to find ... If the door is Love the one we chose, drink the nectar of the most sublime ever brought to the mouth.
